Happy Deepavali

Happy Deepavali to all the bloggers out there. Hope it is not too late to send this wishing. I have decided to post some pictures of the open house organised by M.Kula, MP for Ipoh Barat.

Kit Siang brought along his wife and daughter, Hui Ying to join the residents of Ipoh for the celebration.

I particularly like the cookies . But the curry chicken was too spicy for me. The government will be hosting a Deepavali open house on this coming 9th November, 2005 at Brickfields, KL too. I received the invitation card yesterday.

The government, without fail, remembers to organise open houses during festive seasons for all races to come together. However, this sort of brief show of “concern” is not good enough.

I am particularly worried of the poverty and gangsterism among Indians. They are marginalised by the development of country.

I would like to borrow the words of Pak Lah, “Act without delay” ( statement of Pak Lah when he ordered immediate investigation of the missing millions ringgit in Bank Islam) and give particular attention to the hardships of the Indians. It is not only my matter, Indians matter but a national matter that need urgent solutions.

  1. UMNO and BN are very good in briding. During festivals and New Years, they talk about muhibbah and when it is over, they talk about Previleges and NEPs

  3. Well MP Fong, no one is marginalised that easily if they have the nothing is impossible attitude. If the chinese can survive anywhere in the world, what is stopping a malaysian? If they need to have crutches, then how can they be outstanding? You cannot even stand straight with a crutch la!

  4. ‘If the Chinese can survive anywhere in the world, what is stopping a Malaysian?”

Hmm..what about a Malaysian Chinese? One leg crutched and one leg kicking?

Jokes aside, the government only has that much money, and that much influence. When it wears out,and competition steps in,whoever ,race irrespective who has been leaning on the goverment for support to live, will be rudely and painfully awakened from la la land and forced all of a sudden to compete with seasoned, well equipped adversaries.

    Malaysia Boleh tak?
