Abandoned Inns Along Plus Highway
I kept asking myself, who is to be responsibled for the abandoned inns along the NKVE? Who paid for the construction? Definitely , not by PLUS. Not the government. You and me.
The government said that so far RM 38.5 billion has been paid as compensation to the Highway operators because the toll rate was not raised in accordance to the agreement. The compensation was a burden to the government.
What are the terms of the agreement? Make it public.

The poor planning caused the wastage of public funds. The abandoned inns are not only an eye-sore but also a burden to the public. Why has Dato’ Seri Samy Vellu been quiet about it?

Am more interested about the toll concessionaire system itself.. the fact that government has to top up losses by the company.. is it the losses or is it the projected profit or is it revenue? Maybe someone know the answer… and has that factored in the fact the increase in the numebr of cars plying the toll routes… of the projection growth of car population in the nation…

the inns was a good idea by Plus but the rakyat spoiled it. it services was terminated when it was used by many as a one night stand venue by many love birds!

What’s is wrong when one legally can have 4 wives as Malaysia claim to be an islamic state? What do you mean nowadays, people are doing it in public places as carried in a recent survey? If PLUS makes money, everyone is happy.

Sam commented the rakyat spoilt the good idea of the inns coz many used it as one night stand. I, too, had heard of the yarns. But I don’t think the authorities are so puritanical to close it down on that ground. The inns were abandoned coz not sustainable.

Inns in such secluded locations, if not good for one night stand, what else is it for? Sam, I have a gut feeling it’s meant to create that niche market in mind.

Add - also market for MIB and Religious Department to nab them but why no action from Religious Department? Is it because PLUS is related to UMNO?

keep up with your good work. i hope more cases like this will come out in the open. the govt must be responsible for their action. tax payer money should not go down the drain just like that.
p.s. yesterday i could help but notices in the newspaper, a deputy minister called you and kit ‘monkey’. this is a sign of desperation. and you’re right, he doesn’t have the answer. just trying to divert the question. hehe.
