Release the 5 Hindraf Leaders and Abolish ISA
When I was driving to Parliament yesterday and stopped at the traffic light along Jalan Tun Perak, suddenly something struck me as I saw the public crossing the road.
I asked myself, if the public who are voters in Kota Alam Shah could accept M.Manoharan as their elected representative, wasn’t that a clear message that the 5 Hindraf leaders who are currently held under ISA should not be further detained but be released immediately.
If 12,699 persons who are of 21 years and above made a stand that they want M.Manoharan to be their elected representative, isn’t that good enough to show that they believe and trust him? They want him to speak up for them in the State Assembly. As such, how can an individual decision to further detained the 5 Hindraf leaders to stand?
Also, how can the reason, that the 5 Hindraf leaders are threat to national security stand, when Kota Alam Shah voters decide otherwise? They do not fear him. Majority of Kota Alam Shah wants M.Manoharan to work for them.
As such, it is not right for the Prime Minister or his Cabinet Minister to further allow the detention of the 5 Hindraf leaders.
Abolish Internal Security Act and released all detained under the said draconian law without further delay.

The BN is in a mess - always has been, always will be. You can’t change that. You can change yourself………….
abolish the ISA and OSA and have an even playing field. Let people or the Rakyat judge your deeds, for my mind has been made up after the latest relevations that it won’t be BN again ever.

I support the abolishment of ISA and OSA but if certain segments of ISA are needed like tackling religious deviationists like JI or Al queda that threaten national security then amend it but not keep some innocent man jailed and separated from family just because he tried to lead a protest against the government. FREE HINDRAF and Im saying this as a Chinese! No racial discrimination for MALAYSIANS

What about the other detainees? And why is it that the present group of PR MPs only care for HIndraf. Are the others not human beings who have families too?

The HINDRAF 5 should be released without delay. The ISA and OSA should be repealed. These draconian laws have been misused and abused too many times to be relevant. The abolishment of these laws can be seen as something positive which the PM can be remembered by when he is no longer in the scene!
