Beijing Olympics Medalist Lee Chong Wei in Parliament
At about 4 pm, I walked out from the Chamber and heading towards the washroom when I was told that Lee Chong Wei is in Parliament. I asked myself, “What is he doing here? He should be resting for a few more days.”
Is Chong Wei and the delegation’s next organised plan for them going to be Permatang Pauh constituency?

One of the reason why our sports sucks at international level is because of politics. I hope you guys can keep politics out of sports. It’s already so messy with education and everything else.

My consolation when LCW lost was that at least he will not be made used of by politicians in by-election as happened before. Well, I was obviously wrong as the bankrupt regime will make used of anything, gold, silver, bronse, race, religion and even sex.

I appeal to Lee Chong Wei that he needs to go out nad use his fame to promote the welfare of all Malaysians and that he can only achieve that end if he campaign for the election of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim because for the first time in Malaysian history a great Malay leader who knows that multiculturalism is the key to a Malaysian Malaysia is possible.
The Chinese & Indians cannot survive another 10 years of UMNO misgovernment. We will drown in the filth of UMNO politics and corruption. Help the PKR to help your Chinese brothers & sisters.

This is common la…. since Chong Wei is dubbed as the national hero and if he help BN to campaign in Permatang Pauh, there is high possibility that some of the chinese will be influence. However, i don’t like the idea of using/ take advantage of these innocent people to promote the political party. What else BN can do? They have lost all the credibility that they need to use ambassador(angkasawan/athlete) to speak for them…..what a shame….!

This badminton boy lost the gold medals for two more reasons:
1) A million ringgits is to much pressure; this kid have sleepless nights dreaming
2) He is arrogantly rude towards Lin Dan; his expression is abhorring when he won his first point.
This should teach him a lesson.

BN is quick to use him as propaganda and sideshow. It won’t work. Being fair, just, civil and honest with the people would win more hearts.
Malaysian sport like education is pretty mediocre. At least Thailand and Indonesia did get a gold medal each. Malaysia, zero.

ONLY ONE SILVER MEDAL.WHERE IS THE GOLD???MILLIONS OF RINGGIT WERE SPENT IN THE PREPARATION FOR THE OLYMPICS AND WE HAD ONLY A SOLITARY SILVER? WHAT A SHAME REALLY!

Cinta Malaysia , why not we the rakyat spent millions of ringgit to train u up & send u for international competitions & make sure every competition u get a gold medal for malaysia.
Lin Dan of China is ranked world No.1 , more over the competition is in Lin Dan’s home country & they have home crowd support.
Mind u this is sports , whether malaysia wins or lose the finals we should learn to accept the final verdict. “sportsmanship” is the key , from defeat we do a post mortem , find out where is out weakness from there we will improve & grow up to be stronger.

Chong Wei, if you allow yourself to be paraded and used by UMNO during this permatang pauh election, you’ll be a bigger idiot than you already are now for losing a “golden opportunity” at Beijing.
Many of us believe that you should have at least given Lin Dan a greater fight for the gold instead of appearing like an amateur during the game.

Cinta Malaysia ,
how about rakyat spend millions of Ringgit to train u up & U represent malaysia in international competition & make sure every competition u earned malaysia a gold medal.
lose or win does it really matter a lot ? sportsmen or women should have their sportsman/womanship spirit. watever the final verdict is we should learn to accept it with graciousness.
we could conduct a post mortem where had we gone wrong & from there we practise more to improve & cover our weakness.
don’t grumble too much as it gets u nowhere.

Dear all,
LCW was just taken here and there without knowing why, and had no say of yes or no. He was just a sportsman and he was young, if you people want to blame then blame the politicians, why taking it on a 26 year old innocent man who did the nation proud?
If it were you, it would be the same. But unfortunately it wasn’t you, nobody would take you to the parliament because you did not win a medal, you did not even know how to count in badminton.
What’s wrong with LCW? What’s wrong with you guys?
